STEP 3: Configure Net Gate Client & Test it

Configure Net Gate Client

• Log onto www.thenetgate.org and kindly make a note of your own IP address which is located top right of the Net Gate homepage.

• Close all Internet Explorer windows including www.thenetgate.org.

• Open your Net Gate client (which was downloaded onto your computer as shown below) and enter your account number & password into the login dialog and press the LOGIN button.

• Your present balance, change gate list and select gate will be displayed at the top of the Net Gate client.

• Log onto www.thenetgate.org to confirm your IP address has changed

• Browse the internet freely!

• To unblock VOIP to make cheap phone calls click on UNBLOCK All to activate your personnel VPN encrypted secured tunnel. If you are not requiring VOIP services but are still requiring unblocked Internet browsing click DISABLE UNBLOCK ALL. This will unblock web sites other than VOIP sites.

• Logout from Net Gate Service. Close all Internet Explorer Windows to recover original Internet Explorer Settings

Used Gate function:

Once you are logged into Net Gate client you can see a function called USED GATE which appears at the top of the window with a drop down list. This function allows you the user to change your IP location between several anonymous secure gates around the world showing you are connected from e.g. United States instead of UAE. This function greatly improves your own personal security and makes it impossible for service providers & others who are trying to track your IP address and Internet access.
