Configuration for Vista Users

Configure Net Gate Client for Vista

Vista Users, new to the Net Gate service are required to turn off the Users account control in windows set up, to use the UNBLOCK All function of the Net Gate service. This allows Net Gates VPN tunnel to be configured correctly for your PC.

• Click on Start followed by Control panel on your PC desk top.

• Select User Accounts and Family Safety as shown below

• Select User Accounts as shown below

• Select Turn User Account Control on or off as shown below.

• Remove the TICK from the Use User Account Control (UAE) to help protect your computer followed by selecting OK as shown below.

• Once this procedure has been done you will then be able to use the UNBLOCK All function in the Net Gate client.
